V1 Site Removal

We recently upgraded all of our servers but unfortunately the old PinoyTalk site needed too much work in terms of upgrades to be compatible with current software. Since usage on the site has been very low the past year or two we decided not to spend the time and money in an upgrade of the software at this time. FYI - the site was setup initially in 2004 as a prototype social networking site using the tools and technologies in use at the time. At this time, it is best to redesign using modern tools which we are in the process of evaluating.
 

New PinoyTalk Site

We are in the process of evaluating options for the design of the new PinoyTalk site. If you have any suggestions please let us know by sending a message to v2-site-suggestons@pinoytalk.com. We hope to have the new site up and running early in 2012 at which time we'll send update notifications to all existing PinoyTalk users.
 

Historic User Accounts

Any data that you may have had with the old system is still available. This includes pinoytalk.com email. If you need access to this please send a note to v1users@pinoytalk.com. Please let us know what you need (profile photos, email, etc), and we'll get right back to you with either the files or instructions as to how you can retrieve.

Note: Please note that all historic accounts will be removed effective 1 April 2012 (six months from the date of this notice).
